Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of police officer, witness of Bangabandhu murder case and valiant freedom fighter Nurul Islam Khan.
Nurul Islam Khan died in the city on Wednesday.
He was shot in front of the residence of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 32 Dhanmondi on August 15, 1975.
The Prime Minister prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
