Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud yesterday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Ferdous Ara, sister of AL Gen-eral Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
In a message of condolence, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Ferdous Ara died at a hospital in the city while undergoing treatment.
