Bangladesh Meteorological Department yesterday predicted rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divi-sions with hails at isolated places today.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Day temperature may rise by 1-2 degrees Celsius and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 39.0 degree Celsius at Rajshahi and yesterday’s minimum temperature 21.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Sylhet.
Country’s maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6:00 am yesterday was recorded 42 milli-meters at Sylhet.
The sun sets at 06.16am yesterday and rises at 5.45pm today in the capital.
