GEH health card regi guidelines

Staff Reporter:

The Government Employees Hospital has instructed users to register online, update their profile infor-mation and upload the required documents to obtain a health card.
According to a notice issued yesterday, applicants can collect their health cards from the hospital’s desig-nated room on any working day once the hospital authorities verify their identity and information and mark their profile status as ‘Verified’.
To obtain a health card, applicants must first update their profile information through the hospital’s Health Services Management System (HSMS) software. They must then download and fill out the health card registration form and upload the necessary documents and supporting evidence.
The notice also stated that doctor appointments must be booked online through the hospital’s HSMS software.
If a patient fails to attend two consecutive scheduled consultations after booking appointments online and does not cancel them despite having the option to do so, their user ID will be automatically deactivated. No further appointments can be booked using the deactivated ID.
Patients seeking appointments to show their test results can obtain them from the report counter within seven days of receiving the reports.
The notice further stated that new patients must complete their initial registration entirely online through the ‘My Profile’ option on the hospital’s website, www.skh.gov.bd.
Following online registration, government employees, their dependents, freedom fighters and persons with special needs must visit rooms 424 and 425 of the hospital with the required supporting documents and original papers to have their registration approved.
For further information and assistance, applicants have been advised to contact the hospital’s IT infor-mation centre.
