Kushtia: A human hauler driver was killed when a truck hit his vehicle on Kushtia-Rajbari road at Bilja-ni Bazar in Khoksha upazila of Kushtia district on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Munna, 30, son of Motaleb Hossain of Alamdanga upazila of the district.
The accident occurred around 8 am when the human hauler crashed into the truck as its driver lost con-trol while heading towards Pangha upazila in Rajbari district, leaving him dead on the spot, said Sub-Inspector of Khoksha Police Station Md Habibul.
Local people seized the truck but failed to catch its driver as he managed to flee the scene.
