BNP on Tuesday staged a protest procession in the capital’s Farmgate area against what it de-scribed as a plot to destabilize the country through planned acts of anarchy.
The procession was led by BNP acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
Organized by the Agriculturalists Association of Bangladesh (AAB), the procession began from the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh and ended in front of the Farmgate Police Box.
Several hundred agriculturists, including AAB Convener Krishibid Dr Kamruzzaman Kaiser and Member Secretary Shahadat Hossain Biplob, took part in the procession.
The protesters chanted various slogans during the procession.
