Prime Minister’s Public Administration Adviser Md Ismail Zabihullah has asked the officials to ex-pedite the implementation of projects under the Annual Development Program (ADP) of the minis-try within the stipulated timeframe.
“The physical and financial progress of ongoing projects must be reviewed regularly. If there are any problems in project implementation, they must be identified promptly and necessary measures taken,” he said.
Zabihullah was addressing a review meeting on the implementation progress of the ADP projects under the ministry for the month of July of the fiscal year 2026–27.
State Minister for Public Administration Md. Abdul Bari was present at the meeting.
Zabihullah said among the projects being implemented under the ministry, emphasis has been placed on infrastructure development, enhancing the capacity of BCS cadre officials, modernizing training centres, and digitization.
He said if a project is nearing the end of its approved duration and requires additional time for im-plementation, steps should be taken to extend the project period through the proper procedure.
However, the project cost must not be increased under any circumstances when extending the pro-ject period, he said.
At the beginning of the meeting, Zabiullah unveiled the covers of the books “Organization and Management Guidelines 2026,” “O&M Manual” Volumes I and II, and “Statistics of Government Employees 2025.”
Senior Public Administration Secretary Md. Ehsanul Hoque chaired the meeting while officials con-cerned joined it in person and on virtual platform.
