Info Minister flies for China

Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon yesterday left Dhaka for China on an offi-cial visit at the invitation of the Chinese government.
On the occasion of the visit, the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid a courtesy call on the Information Minister at the VIP lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. During the visit, the Information and Broadcasting Minister will participate in the ‘5th CMG Forum’ organised by China Media Group, scheduled to be held from June 8-11.
Additionally, during the visit, an important bilateral meeting between Bangladesh Information Minister and the Chinese Information Minister is expected to take place.
