A court in Jhenaidah on Monday granted bail to Tarek Reza, central joint member secretary of the National Citizen Party (NCP), in a case filed by the district unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
The matter was confirmed by NCP Joint Member Secretary (Office) Saleh Uddin Sifat.
In a statement, Sifat said Tarek Reza secured bail from a Jhenaidah court shortly after the hearing.
Earlier, police arrested central joint secretary of the National Citizen Party (NCP), Tarek Reza, in connection with a case filed by Chhatra Dal.
He was detained around 6:30pm on Sunday in front of Family Zone Community Center on Kabi Sukanta Road in Jhenaidah town.
