Russia kills 2, wounds 17 in east Ukraine

KYIV, Ukraine, March 10, 2026 (Net) – Russian strikes killed two people and wounded more than a dozen others in the embattled eastern Ukrainian town of Sloviansk, regional authorities announced Tues-day.
The Kremlin’s forces are grinding towards the industrial hub located in the wider Donetsk region, where Russia has concentrated its firepower since invading in February 2022.
“Enemy forces struck one of the districts of Sloviansk — at least two dead and 17 wounded, including a 14-year-old child,” Ukrainian investigators said.
They also posted images showing burnt-out vehicles and a Soviet-era residential building gutted in the strikes. The head of the city said Russia had struck with three guided aerial bombs.
There was no immediate response from Moscow, which claims its forces do not target civilians, and also that the Donetsk region is part of Russia.
