Govt nominates 40 JSs, DSs for procurement training

The government has nominated 40 joint secretaries (JSs) and deputy secretaries (DSs) to receive gov-ernment procurement management training.
“The 46th Government Procurement Management Training Course, with a residential facility, will com-mence on February 22 at the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Administration Academy and continue until March 5, 2026,” a ministry notification said yesterday.
The nominated candidates will have to register online through the Government Employees Management System (GEMS) and the BCS Administration Academy website (https://erp.bcsadminacademy.gov.bd/participant/registration) on or before 18 February, 2026, the noti-fication said.
“If any necessary candidates can contact with Md Humaiun Kabir, assistant secretary of the BCS admin-istration academy (Cell- 01741940484),” it said.
The notification, however, said that officers who will complete online registration will have to report at the BCS Administration Academy, Shahbag, Dhaka on 22 February, 2026 at 8.00 am.
Otherwise, they will be considered as stand released from 22 February, 2026, it said.
