Rowshan urges to bring back Bangladeshis from Sudan

Leader of the opposition in parliament Rowshan Ershad has urged the government to take steps to im-mediately bring back expatriate Bangladeshis stranded in Sudan as war rages on in the African country.
In a statement on Sunday, she said that about 3,000 Bangladeshi nationals are stranded in Sudan since the war broke out. They are now spending their days in fear, having no money and food with them.
The opposition leader also urged the foreign ministry and the ministry of expatriates’ welfare and over-seas employment to take measures to move the stranded Bangladeshis from the Sudanese capital Khar-toum and arrange food and a safe place for them.
