The interim government is set to begin a new round of dialogue regarding the work of the six commissions formed to reform the state apparatus, starting with the BNP on Saturday.
The dialogue will take place at the State Guest House Jamuna around 2:30 pm on that day, with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir leading the delegation, Sayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP Chairperson media wing, told the Daily Sun this evening.
However, the names of other members of the BNP delegation could not be confirmed immediately as the party will finalise the delegation members by tomorrow, according to a source of the party.
The council of advisers will also discuss the country’s latest law and order situation during the meeting.
Meanwhile, Fakhrul while addressing a programme at the national Press Club in Dhaka this noon, called upon the interim government to arrange a free and fair election soon by completing the necessary reform tasks for the sake of building a new and democratic Bangladesh reflecting the aspirations of the recent revolution.
