A 53-year-old man and 42-year-old woman were found dead inside a private car at Elenbari in Tejgaon area of the city on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Delwar Hossain of Narail district and Moushumi Akter Rani of Mun-shiganj district.
Shah Alam, in-charge Tejgaon Model Police Station, said after getting information from locals, police recovered the bodies from inside the private car, parked on the road around 7:30 am.
Later, the bodies were sent to Shaheed Suhrawari Medical College and Hospital.
The reason behind their death could not be known immediately.
