Long tailbacks on highways

Dhaka : Long tailbacks hit different highways on Friday outside Dhaka city on eid rush.

18 kilometres tailbacks has been seen at the west end and 20 kilometres at the east end of the Bangabandhu Multipurpose Bridge on Dhaka-Tangail highway.

According to the highway police, the heavy pressure of vehicles on the highway and the bad condition of roads caused the tailbacks that started around 11:30am.
