Obaidul Quader smells BNP plot over Rohingya issue

Noakhali: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday urged BNP to stop hatching 'conspiracies' centering Rohingya issue.
"BNP has been engaged in a dirty game. They don't criticize the repression of Rohingyas by the Myanmar au-thorities...they only criticize the government," he said.

UN says 270,000 refugees enter Bangladesh

rohingaOnline Desk : Some 270,000 mostly Rohingya refugees have fled Myanmar's violence-wracked Rakhine state and entered Bangladesh since August 25, the United Nations said Friday.

"An estimated 270,000 refugees arrived in Bangladesh in the last two weeks," said UNHCR spokeswoman Vivian Tan.
