HC rules on govt to take control over grabbed, filled up ponds

The High Court on Tuesday directed Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur to submit a report after taking over the illegally grabbed and filled up water bodies and ponds of the city within 30 days.
An HC bench of Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque and Justice Mohammad Ullah passed the suo moto order follow-ing a report published in the daily 'Prothom Alo' on Tuesday.
