4 to die for killing minor girl after rape in N’ganj

Narayanganj: A tribunal here on Monday convicted four people and sentenced them to death for killing a mi-nor girl after rape in 2003.
The convicts are Sujon, Alamin, Abul Kalam and Shahdat. All of them were tried in absentia.
According to the prosecution, the convicts took the ten-year-old girl of Alirtek area in Sadar upazila to a mus-tard filed and violated the girl in turns on January 13, 2003.
Later, they killed the girl and left the body there.
