Man gets death penalty, 2 life term for killing girl

Chandpur: A court here on Wednesday sentenced a man to death and life term imprisonment to two others for killing a teenage girl after gang-rape at Faridganj upazila in 2015.
Among the convicts, Saiful Islam, 23, of Chandpur Sadar was sentenced to death while Meraj Bepari, 35, son of Chunnu Bepari of Sobhanpur village and Nur Islam, 35, son of Muslim Rari of Purbo Gulisha village of the upazila were awarded life-term imprisonment.
