EC capable of holding fair polls: Ershad

Jatiya Party chairman HM Ershad on Saturday said the current Election Commission, led by KM Nurul Huda, will be able to arrange the next general election in a fair and credible manner if a congenial atmosphere prevails.
"We don't want any change in the Election Commission as we'd proposed his (Huda's) name, and he is a simple man. I think, he'll be able to hold a fair election if a congenial atmosphere is created in the days to come," he told a press conference.
