Dhaka: All of the 22 students, who were arrested for vandalism and attacks on police during the safe roads movement, have been denied bail and were sent to jail.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sattyabrata Shikder denied the bail petition after the hearing of bail petitions filed by the lawyers of the students.
Police produced them before the court following the completion of their two-day remand.
On August 7, a Dhaka court approved two-day remand for the accused as two separate cases were filed against them.
The arrestees are students of East West University, North South University, Southeast University and BRAC University.
